Avoidor an alebrije that is inspired by the folk story and cultural traditions of Bahia and the Brazilian Northeast ( Bumba meu boi) Avoador is fundamentally about the creative power and revolution of migration. Avoider is born from my own migrant experience and multiple identity formations and transformations but ultimately every immigrant and child of immigrant is AVOADOR.
